Didn't fully appreciate the quality and function of this reasonably priced device till after I got it mounted on the magazine tube of a 20" eight shot Mossberg 500A pistol grip shotgun. Cruiser or Presuader model I think. Used a LaserLite tri rail mount to mount it under the magazine tube.
It lights up the interior of my house well. It's a sturdier set up than I expected it to be. Used small wire ties to solidly attach one of the two included pressure switches to the vented hand guard where I can activate the laser and light at the same time with one touch of my left thumb.
Tried to push it around to intentionally knock the laser out of alignment... but it's still right where I set it.
Don't know how it will hold up under some target practice yet. The LED light should hold up OK.
Would like to see a stronger locking type attachment between the plug in remote pressure switch and the body of the light. That's the only potential weak link I can see if it were to get snagged and pulled loose. Yet, one can simply use the switch mounted on the back of the unit which automatically takes over, when the remote pressure switch is unplugged, if that were to happen in a tight situation...
This appears to be one of those decent Chinese made products. It's of better quality than I thought it would be for $90.
