I ordered a Leupold Sequoia and a Bushnell Excursion and this one was the best of the bunch. Top quality optics, well made, well balanced. It's 95% as good as scopes costing 4x as much. I like the detachable eyepiece - possible future flexibility if I ever want to use this for "digiscoping" as a telephoto lens.
The only thing reason why you *shouldn't* buy this scope is if you're considering the ProStaff 20-60x82. It's not that much more expensive, it's a little more magnification, and it's a lot better in low light.Get more detail about Nikon 8314 Prostaff 16-48 X 65 MM Spotting Scope Outfit.
